Discover how the wood-fired oven works.

From September 10 to 12, 2021, the Manufacture Ephrem showcased its various wood-fired ovens—domestic, professional, and bakery—to the public in Corbières (04). The event featured a demonstration complemented by bread and pizza workshops led by our ambassador Emmanuel Barthélémy, a professional pizzaiolo and baker. A wonderful experience for both young and old, who had the opportunity to put on an apron and step into the shoes of real culinary professionals for an hour.

Installation of an Ephrem rotating wood-fired bakery oven and a fixed professional oven by our team.

During this event, visitors had the opportunity to discover the operation of an Ephrem wood-fired bakery oven as well as a fixed professional model. Sébastien, Stéphan, Jean-Baptiste, and Jean-Luc carried out the transportation and installation over two days. A technical challenge under the southern heat that was well worth the effort—the ovens ran for four days, delighting both the eyes and the taste buds of all. A big thank you to our team!
