Finding out how a wood-fired oven works

From 10 to 12 September 2021, Ephrem presented its various wood-fired ovens to the public in Corbières (04): domestic, professional and bakers. The demonstration was supported by bread and pizza workshops led by our ambassador Emmanuel Barthélémy, a pizzaiolo and baker by profession. The event was a real treat for young and old alike, who were able to don their aprons and become true catering professionals for an hour.

Installation of an Ephrem rotating wood-fired baker oven and a professional fixed oven by our team

During the event, visitors were able to see how an Ephrem baker wood-fired oven works, as well as a fixed professional model. Sébastien, Stéphan, Jean-Baptiste and Jean-Luc transported and installed the ovens over a two-day period. It was a technical challenge in the heat of the South, but well worth the effort: the ovens ran for four days, to the delight of everyone’s eyes and taste buds. Many thanks to our team!
