• ARDENT: it ignites, it is savored, it is drunk, it is heard
Three inspired chefs to celebrate the sacred fire.
On June 24, things will ignite at Ephrem. ARDENT is the name of the evening that will bring together a hundred guests around a star-studded and fiery dinner.
That night, we will celebrate fire: the totem fire, the fire of the summer solstice, the fire of Saint John, and the 50th anniversary of our manufacture.
For the occasion, the ovens will blaze during a first act, at the heart of our workshops in Villeneuve, Haute-Provence, with three exceptional chefs: Emmanuel Perrodin, Julien Diaz et Manuel Barthélemy.
A five-course dinner, highly inspired and entirely conceived around the wood-fired oven and its flame.
A fire that is mastered, structured.
A sacred fire.
Celebrating 50 years of craftsmanship and a reinvented manufacture
This June 24, we will celebrate the history of the manufacture, which began in 1975 with Alain and André Ephrem, and has been carried on since 2019 by Sylvain Pesce and Virginie Boeri Pesce.
It is the story of a craftsmanship rooted in the making of true wood-fired masonry ovens, inspired by the traditional communal ovens of the past.
A totem oven where fire brought people together, where cooking was celebrated and shared.
A unique, lasting kind of cooking, made possible by a deep heat that only refractory stone can master.
Today, Ephrem is reinventing itself and reimagining this oven, dressing it differently.
A totemic design, created by Virginie Boeri Pesce, which will set the tone for this ARDENT dinner.
ARDENT: it ignites, it is savored, it is drunk, it is heard
It ignites with blazing fires and vibrant cooking, staged by three inspiring chefs.
They will be accompanied by a loyal brigade and supported by Les Flambeurs, ovens destined to become iconic.
It is savored with a five-course dinner, an unprecedented culinary experience, unveiled for the first time during the celebration of fire, that of Saint Jean’s Day.
It is drunk with three brilliant names: Laura Aillaud, Le Domaine des Bergeries de Haute Provence and Les Maoù.
Living wines, told that evening by the people who create them.
It is heard with the voices of Cor de la Plana, delivering sublime a cappella songs, and a site that will resonate with a unique tempo.
It sounds like a future ritual, a singular banquet whose first act will take place on June 24.
